For two weeks we filmed in and around the Datai bay in Langkawi Island in Malaysia. The aim was to create a series of films to highlight the natural history that guests can enjoy when staying at the resort.
I used a variety of kit to capture the shots from a gimbal for presenter bits, to a long lens for the wildlife. Underwater photography was by Dr Richard Smith.

My role is capture the most of the environment while maintaining a minimal footprint and being as unobtrusive as possible. Selecting shooting kit carefully enables me to shoot high-quality 4k material in slow motion when required while not being too encumbered by equipment. Using the latest cameras from film and television I can capture the experience and location on the ground and in the air.
