David Attenborough gains two BAFTA nominations for Conquest
Conquest of the Skies has gained two BAFTA nominations this year; Best Specialist Factual and Special and Visual Effects.
I was one of the DOPs on Conquest, shooting the macro and wildlife sequences on location in Borneo and in the UK too. We shot on a 3D rig developed for the series and pioneered new techniques for capturing the behaviour of insects and birds in flight.
