Kit sale

I’m slowly going through my kit room and selling off bits of kit that I don’t use that much any more. In all cases the kit works well, and will have been looked after and serviced regularly. The reason for selling is just because I don’t use it much any more. The kit will be cleaned, inspected and then photographed and added to eBay, but before all that happens I’ll list it on my website so if anyone is interested they can contact me directly.

Sony Ex1 (HD Camcorder)

HD camcorder in full working order and with regular servicing from Sony Prime Support / Top Teks.

The PMW-EX1 is the first in a new range of professional HD products – called XDCAM EX – which record onto memory-based SxS ExpressCard media. Designed from the ground up to exploit the ultimate high performance of SxS PRO memory cards, the PMW-EX1 combines a state-of-the-art, non-linear XDCAM workflow with simply the best HD quality yet seen in a compact camcorder. It is also the first handheld camcorder to carry the legendary CineAlta 24P brand with multiple frame rate recording capability such as 59.94i, 50i, and native 23.98P, as well as being 1080i/720P switchable.

Small HD DP7-Pro 7" OLED monitor

OLED displays have much higher colour reproduction capability (”gamut”) compared to LCD displays. This gives the DP7-PRO the required range to accurately display industry standard colour spaces such as REC 709 for broadcast/web and DCI-P3 for digital cinema.

Sony PMW F3

The PMW-F3 is part of the CineAlta 24P family of digital cinematography products and its support for multiple frame rates includes a filmic 23.98P as well as S-Log workflows.

Exceptional flexibility is a key feature of the F3 along with with multiple workflow options. XDCAM EX’s proven high-speed, intuitive workflow offers seamless integration with leading nonlinear editing software – as standard. In addition, a 10bit 4:2:2 HD-SDI output opens up hybrid recording possibilities with a variety of external recording devices. And from April 2011, a Dual Link HD-SDI option will enable 10bit RGB uncompressed signal output – ideal for the high-end film production.

Comes with the RGB and S-Log options enabling 10bit RGB Dual-Link SDI output for external recording.
