Tonight (3rd February 2015) BBC2’s new series ‘Inside the Commons’ airs at 9pm. Taking a look behind the workings of the House of Commons, this 4-part series by Atlantic Productions was filmed for nearly a year.
I filmed the timelapses and seasonal repeats for the series on a variety of motion control rigs. Live action camera was the Blackmagic 4k, and timelapses were shot on the Nikon D800. Day to night shots were filmed from the top of the Victoria Tower – an iconic view from up there, although quite a challenge getting the kit up there. Worth every minute though.
