What an enjoyable week! The past week I’ve been shooting a mini-drama for Barclays Bank. Directed by Ed McGown, we’re dramatising a story of a man leaving prison and getting himself back on his feet.

Shot on the Sony EX1 with my Letus 35mm adapter and Nikon prime lenses. The whole film relies on reveals to carry the narrative and there was a lot of dollying on the Glidetrack. We also shot some b roll on the Nikon D7000. It’s a light camera and gives full HD on the same Nikon primes I shoot the main film on. The D7000 combined with the Glidetrack allowed us to do some interesting vertical moves, meaning on a low budget you can get expensive looking jib shots.

Here are some making of stills.
